I can't take it anymore.  I get so many off topic questions that fly in the face of everything I've said on my website.  I get e-mails that say, "Do you need help?  Money?  I don't understand the purpose of your site.  Tell me what I can do to help."

Others say, "I'm here in Manila.  Can I meet with you?" since they think I'm secretly a call girl or something to that effect.  You don't have the billion dollars necessary for me to stoop to that level.

Finally I get accused of soliciting help from people or doing dishonest things "behind the scenes" with my readers such as asking for money or something similar.  See the previous example.

Finally I get reasonable e-mails, saying they don't understand how I can have a website but not place any advertising or do anything that can at least allow me to contribute  money to my web host (who hosts me for free BTW).  They say I'm silly not to do so since "unworthy" sites make the revenue instead.  They want to me to place a "tip jar" like so many bloggers or people who have informational websites.

So I've decided to kill all of these birds with one stone, so to speak.  This is because, again, I don't want people sending me money or gifts, or anything else.  I don't feel right in accepting gifts even when they want nothing in return.  Even a "tip jar" doesn't feel right to me because it's too subjective.

Therefore I have what I consider to be a viable solution.  It will allow my readers to contribute indirectly and get something in return.  It will also be a good reference for all of the single guys (and girls) out there looking to meet someone from the Philippines or anywhere else around the world.  It's the biggest personals and networking site on the web, as far as I've seen.  I've even used it myself for laughs a few times to research in understanding how people think.  It's a psychologists playground.  Just be sure to select the areas that interest you in your search.

Please be sure to sign up for their trial membership or even join as a full member.  When you do, I get a small commission.  So there you go.  You indirectly contribute to help me cover any costs in producing my site, as in internet cafe fees, internet cards, and money I should probably give to my web host.  Yea, he hosts me for free, but I did eat 8 gigabytes this month and sort of feel obligated.

This is a good lesson for all of you who visit websites.  Whenever you visit your favorite websites, be sure to visit any advertisers they have.  Try to visit a new advertiser each time you visit and take the site seriously.  If you sign up for a trial membership or buy something from their advertisers, even if it's a very small purchase, that's even better.  Just think about how much time you spend on your favorite websites and have never paid a thing to do so.  Compare that with a movie ticket, newspaper, or magazine subscription.  Most people would love to contribute but have no idea how to do it.

As I said, many people have asked how they can help my site.  I say that the best way to help is to understand what keeps many webmasters motivated, especially those other than me (I have other odd jobs) who fully depend on their sites to pay the rent (both server rent and apartment rent).  One thing I won't do is popups.

Even if you're one of those who hate me, at least supporting my sponsors will keep me around to remind you just how evil a woman can be :^)

I'm writing this little rant-oid (can that be a word? I like it) in protest on my pages to bring attention to the new Cybercrime Prevention Act. While most people simply complain, I find it more effective to rant. The Bill is "designed" to "protect" women from traffickers and sex slaves (as if it's a new phenomenon..duh) yet all it really does is eliminate an easy mechanism for what would have initiated work for webcam women (and positive revenue for the economy) like the linked example site that is, assuming that the Bill will stop anything. I've got news for ya…prohibition does not work. People will always find a way to do anything. Do not get me wrong since I am only defending the Free Market here. Working as a cam girl would be too difficult for me and my patience. I've done VTRs before for just 10 minutes and was losing my temper so I can only imagine what these girls go through. Anyway, the Bill is trying to say that these girls were putting their shows on websites that are visible online in the Philippines and it just encourages prostitution and exploitation. (Another slap myself on the forehead moment…see the earlier prohibition and how a black market with pimps, handlers, Dons, etc, is just being recreated when before the Bill there was no need for "middlemen". The reality, based on my own research and experience is that the Cybercrime Bill is just the COVER story for the TRUE reason for this law. It never ceases to amaze me that there are still people out there who believe the "official" version of ANY story since facts seem like a foreign concept to said stories. Yet the masses all baaa and agree and go along with their lives while thinking that people like me are crazy. Seriously? Then there's the part about libel and blah blah blah. It's just a bunch of busy-body-bureaucratic-bullshit from a gang of thugs and hypocrites that are running a "beta-test" for the West (who plan to do the same thing later after they see the outcome) if you ask me. Even if you don't ask me, you know where you can stick my opinion if you don't like it. I am really tired with these gangs with flags. The most ironic part is that these criminals in government are attempting to outlaw something that they hold most dear. Never forget, "Justice" = "Just US"…not THEM (you and me). Dammit. And here I was trying not to raise my blood pressure by blogging again...
